Malteser Büren was able to purchase urgently needed medical backpacks through generous donations
Thanks to generous donations from a number of Büren-based companies, four new first-aid rucksacks and four new rucksacks for oxygen bottles for resuscitation have now been purchased for the volunteers.
“We are very pleased that, thanks to the support of our donors here in Büren and elsewhere, we are able to provide professional and up-to-date first aid,” said Gerhard Heinen, Malteser Head of Emergency Services, together with the 20-man first aid team. All of the donors emphasized how important their commitment to the region and the common good is to them: “Not only the volunteer first aiders benefit from this, but also everyone who attends a festival in Büren. A good reason to support the Malteser here locally. In an emergency, this may even save someone's life.”
We at ARGUS are delighted to be making a contribution to the Malteser's new and professional rescue equipment and thus further expanding our commitment in the region.
