The leading trade fair for the plastics and rubber industry K2022 took place again at the Düsseldorf exhibition center 70 years after the first edition. According to the official press release, the number of visitors this year amounted to 176,000 from 157 countries. The proportion of international guests was thus consistently high compared to 2019, when there were 165 countries represented. In terms of the total number of visitors, around 50,000 less traveled to the trade show, this was certainly also due to travel restrictions imposed by East Asian countries. Nevertheless, numerous visitors from all over the world were welcomed to the fair, so that all 17 halls were crowded with visitors during the fair.
ARGUS was, as in the last years, represented the whole week in hall 6 at booth A39. Our trade fair team was motivated on site all 8 days and was able to welcome new and regular customers personally again after a long period of pandemic. Besides our colleagues from Büren we were supported by our representatives from all over the world, for example from Israel, India, South America, Turkey and Spain. With a total of more than 400 discussions held with trade visitors and interests, the trade fair was a great success for ARGUS. At our booth, we welcomed many international guests from Taiwan, Australia, Vietnam or the Philippines, among others. However, most of the visitors at the ARGUS booth came from Germany, Belgium, France and India.
Overall, it was a successful trade fair for ARGUS this year and a good opportunity to meet many customers in person again and to strengthen business relationships. The next edition of the K trade fair will take place again in three years in Düsseldorf 08-15 October 2025.
